Hey guys!! It seems like forever since I’ve updated you guys on my life, but finally I’ve gotten around to it! For the last year and a half, I have been working on a novel that is yet to be titled. In the last month, I have gotten into writing fantasy geared for children and teenagers. I will confess, writing fantasy has broadened my imagination and I may consider switching from being a dramatic writer to fantasy. I have taken a couple of online classes at Hudson Valley Community College. It was difficult for me, having a learning disability, but I’m hoping to make another attempt at a couple more. Chronicle Book Fair a success!!
Thanks for coming out to see us at the Chronicle Book Fair! K. J. had a great time at "Autumn Leaves", the 20th Annual Chronicle Book Fair in Glens Falls, NY on November 8th! Sponsored by the Chronicle newspaper, K.J. and over 100 other authors attended. Each author was set up at a table where their books and merchandise could be viewed. K. J. had a display set up where visitors could actually attempt typing with their nose to experience a little of what he goes through in his writing process. Here are a couple pics and a video of the day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxP0KXxtr40 … [Read more...]

Hi guys! My name is K. J. Tyrrell. I am a novice writer who can’t use my hands due to Cerebral Palsy (my disability). I have developed an ability to type using my nose. I began writing this story as a hobby when I was 14 and it turned into a novel that I finished in 2013. Your Worst Nightmare was just published by Troy Book Makers a couple of weeks ago in Troy, NY. If you want to experience the life and love, tests and trials of my characters Lucas, Kayla, and Charlie, then order a copy of my book here on the website, message me on K. J. Tyrrell’s Facebook page, or tweet me @KJTyrrell96. I will leave updates each week on my upcoming novels through my Facebook and this blog. … [Read more...]
